yet never a breeze up-blew!
the arers all ≈039;gan work the ropes,
where they were wont to do:
they raised their libs like lifeless tools—
we were a ghastly crew
the body of y brother≈039;s son
stood by , knee to knee :
the body and i pulled at one rope,
but he said nought to
“i fear thee, ancient arer !”
be cal, thou weddg-guest !
≈039;as not those souls that fled pa,
which to their rses ca aga,
but a troop of spirits blest :
for when it dawned—they dropped their ars,
and cltered round the ast ;
sweet sounds rose slowly through their ouths,
and fro their bodies passed
around, around, flew each sweet sound,
then darted to the sun ;
slowly the sounds ca back aga,
now ixed, now one by one
sotis a-droppg fro the sky
i heard the sky-rk sg ;
sotis all little birds that are,
how they seed to fill the sea and air
with their sweet jargong !
and now ≈039;as like all strunts,
now like a lonely flute ;
and now it is an angel≈039;s song,
that akes the heavens be ute
it ceased ; yet still the sails ade on
a pleasant noise till noon,
a noise like of a hidden brook
the leafy onth of june,
that to the sleepg woods all
