light, a seraph-an,
on every rse there stood
this seraph-band, each waved his hand :
it was a heavenly sight !
they stood as signals to the nd,
each one a lovely light ;
this seraph-band, each waved his hand,
no voice did they ipart—
no voice ; but oh ! the silence sank
like ic on y heart
but soon i heard the dash of oars,
i heard the pilot≈039;s cheer ;
y head was turned perforce away,
and i saw a boat appear
the pilot and the pilot≈039;s boy,
i heard theg fast :
dear lord heaven ! it was a joy
the dead n uld not bst
i saw a third—i heard his voice :
it is the herit good !
he sgeth loud his godly hyns
that he akes the wood
he≈039;ll shrieve y soul, he≈039;ll wash away
the albatross≈039;s blood
