题记：这是一个普普通通的中国女孩子在九十年代末期留学日本时发生的故事

渋谷公園。
街上的路灯还亮着，清晨5：30的东京还没有完全醒来。远远近近听得见乌鸦≈ap;ldo;≈ap;ldo;嘎≈ap;dash;嘎≈ap;rdo;的悲鸣。它们时而盘旋在半空，时而落在垃圾筒上。它们在这座城市无处不在，却是最不受东京人欢迎的。
林欣、安妮和天野每人提了一只白色的大塑料袋，里面放着饭团子（おにぎり），分装在塑料便当盒里。
这是安妮的教堂组织的义工服务，为渋谷公園的ホームレス（无家可归者）们送便当。
昨晚安妮打电话邀请林欣的时候，林欣颇为犹豫了一下：她刚从金学院教课回来，明天大学院的功课还等着她不说，晚上11点筑紫哲也的news 23也是不想错过的！再说，一大早五点就得赶到教堂去拿便当，然后要坐电车去渋谷公園，明天还要上两门课呢≈ap;hellip;≈ap;hellip;但是对安妮，这个≈ap;ldo;不≈ap;rdo;字还真是说不出口：一来她帮过自己这么多忙,二来说是做义工就不去,未免显得自己太自私了。
直至到了教堂，她才发现，原来安妮也邀请了天野！
林欣不禁暗自纳闷：奇怪，为什么john 没来呢？
天野倒是满腔热忱，他说自己做义工是经常的事。94年阪神大地震的时候，他也去做了志愿者。
林欣暗自庆幸：幸亏自己来了。
涉谷公园林欣来过一次。那次见到的都是度假的人们。她根本不知道，这里竟然有着ホームレス的一个小营地。
走进公园深处，树木逐渐茂密起来。树下，这里那里开始出现用纸箱板（ダンボール）搭的小棚子。讲究一点的，棚子顶上还蒙着蓝色塑料布。
很多的棚子里都有一只拉杆旅行箱，想是棚子的人在东京各处流浪的时候，把换洗衣服之类的生活必需品放在里面用的。有些棚子收拾得井井有条，甚至还有书。林欣竟然在一个棚子里看到了一台电视！
这里的ホームレス基本上是男人。有年纪一大把的老人，也有壮年的汉子。当林欣三人都用双手把装着饭团子的便当盒捧给这些人时，他们大多垂着头双手接了，鞠个躬，低声说：どうもありがとう（谢谢），没有任何目光的交流。
三大袋子的饭团子转眼间就分完了。三个人默默地走出公园，好一会儿，大家都不说话。
安妮首先打破了沉默：≈ap;ldo;才六点多，不如我们去麦当劳吃早餐吧！≈ap;rdo;
于是三人进了附近一家麦当劳。
各自买了早餐，他们找了张靠窗的位子坐下来。
安妮一面用叉子切着鸡蛋，一面说：≈ap;ldo;我觉得有一点不能理解≈ap;hellip;≈ap;hellip;在美国，一般ホームレス都挺脏的。记得有一次我在咖啡馆看书，旁边坐着一个人。开始，我只看到他穿的夹克，还以为他是个大学教授呢！后来再仔细一看，我的天！他可真脏啊！脸上胡子拉碴，手都是黑的，指甲里净是泥！再一看他的裤脚，都挂着须子。脚上的鞋子也又脏又破。我才意识到那个人是个ホームレス≈ap;hellip;≈ap;hellip;可是刚才的这些人,好像还挺干净的。≈ap;rdo;
天野看着安妮，非常严肃地说：≈ap;ldo;他们很多人都把附近的公共厕所当作盥洗室，每天早晨去那里刷牙、洗脸、刮胡子，所以看起来还可以。日本人就算是再落魄，这爱干净的脾气也改不了！≈ap;rdo;
≈ap;ldo;在中国怎么样呢？≈ap;rdo;安妮把目光转向林欣，还未等她回答，天野已经说：≈ap;ldo;一定更不像话了吧！≈ap;rdo;
林欣也只得点点头。她心里有点不大高兴，可是过街天桥下、马路边、商店门口那些衣衫褴褛、伸出肮脏的手要钱的男女老少毕竟是每天都能看见的呀。
安妮把目光又转回到天野脸上：≈ap;ldo;我看那些ホームレス搭的小棚子还满整齐的。他们聚居在一起，像个小似的。这是不是说，日本人再落魄，这抱团的脾气也改不了啊？≈ap;rdo;说到这，安妮微笑了。
天野没有理会安妮的调侃，依然严肃地盯着安妮：≈ap;ldo;人什么时候都不能没有伙伴。ホームレス难道就不是人了吗？不过政府不高兴他们这么做！你听说过两年前在西新宿发生的事吗？≈ap;rdo;
安妮摇摇头，一面去吃她的香肠。
天野看起来很激动，已经完全顾不上了吃：≈ap;ldo;以前西新宿的地下通道也是ホームレス的一个聚集地。两年前，政府强行赶他们走，甚至还出动了机动队！作为一个日本人，我认为政府这么对待自己的国民，是很可耻的！≈ap;rdo;他的声音也不自觉地提高了些。
安妮想了想才说：≈ap;ldo;在美国，大家对于ホームレス也不是很友好。因为很多人是咎由自取，比如说吸毒啦、赌博啦、好吃懒做啦≈ap;hellip;≈ap;hellip;≈ap;rdo;
天野摇摇头说:≈ap;ldo;也有很多人是因为精神方面有问题。我听说一些上过战场的老兵，有ptsd---≈ap;rdo;

天野点点头，≈ap;ldo;对！就是这个！≈ap;rdo;
≈ap;ldo;那日本的ホームレス也是因为精神上有疾病吗？≈ap;rdo;林欣好不容易才插进一句话。
天野仍然看着安妮说：≈ap;ldo;日本不少人之所以沦落成ホームレス，是因为泡沫经济崩坏后，很多公司采取リストラ（裁员）！唉，日本人要面子，很多人被裁了，还天天穿戴好、拿着公文包装作去上班≈ap;hellip;≈ap;hellip;≈ap;rdo;
≈ap;ldo;或者自杀，是吧？≈ap;rdo;安妮吃完了最后一口早餐，用餐巾纸擦擦嘴。
