题记：这是一个普普通通的中国女孩子在九十年代末期留学日本时发生的故事

夕阳是金色的。淡色的窗纱也映成了金色。天是带点灰色的蓝，不过还是比较明亮的蓝，所以仍然显得高远。到处是灰的云、蓝灰的云。在天的尽头，太阳把云的边缘照得发亮。最亮的地方，那云整个就像是乳白色的壁灯，于厚厚的瓷白色后面透出温暖的光来。颜色在这里虽然都做了夕阳的俘虏，然而只是瞬间的事而已。很快地，窗纱上的金色渐渐地退去了。风蓬蓬地吹着，送来远处球击在球拍上的声音，钝钝的。这声音让林欣觉得安心，让她想起小时候吃晚饭前总会有的那么一段惬意时光。
从南京回来的这三个星期，林心还是第一次有闲情逸致，看看窗外的风景。
这段日子里，在忙完学校的功课和打工之余，她一直在背新东方的≈ap;ldo;红宝书≈ap;rdo;。书是志远去美国前留给她的。那天他约她在一家小咖啡馆见面。用了一个多小时的时间，细陈利害，反复告诫她日本不是一个女孩子的久留之地。她还是第一次听志远说那么多话。
≈ap;ldo;你想想看，在日本那样的会，日本女人自己的地位那么低，结了婚就得在家做饭带孩子，你一个中国女孩子能有什么前途！≈ap;rdo;志远的表情非常严肃。
林欣笑笑说：≈ap;ldo;你好像比我还了解日本呢。≈ap;rdo;
志远没理会林欣的揶揄，接着说：≈ap;ldo;还有，日语只是个小语种。只会日语，就只能和日本人打交道，出路太窄了！你高中英语不是本来挺不错的嘛。强化一下，把gre、toefl考出来，还是应该来美国深造一下！≈ap;rdo;
≈ap;ldo;可是美国生活那么寂寞≈ap;hellip;≈ap;hellip;春秋说她们那里简直就是个大农村！吃的、穿的，都不适中国人≈ap;hellip;≈ap;hellip;再说,我也不会开车≈ap;hellip;≈ap;hellip;≈ap;rdo;林欣说，一面用小勺子搅了搅杯子里的咖啡。
志远笑了笑说：≈ap;ldo;你这些担心都是小事情，很快就会适应的。咱们高中同学有那么多人都在美国，大家都可以帮你呀。你不是和春秋很要好吗？可以申请一个学校嘛。我们学校也很不错的。挨着大城市，生活上也会方便很多。≈ap;rdo;
他看林欣不说话，又说：≈ap;ldo;就算你不来美国，英语也不该丢掉。考一下gre、toefl，也能逼着自己把英语提高提高嘛。不然在日本再待些日子，你的英语会丢光掉的。≈ap;rdo;
林欣觉得他最后这番话说得倒还是满有道理的。就算是在日本，英语好也绝对是个优势。上个学期藤田教授的课上请了一位美国大学教授做客。林欣提了个问题，话音刚落，列席的武市教授就马上赞到：你的英语真好啊！那之前，他可是连正眼也没看过林欣。
satoi说她已经把g和托都考下来了，现在在忙着联系学校。
金学院那边最近不大顺心。从南京回来第一次去上课，那谢婉云冷着脸劈头就问：≈ap;ldo;听说你和大谷去吃南京烤鸭了？！≈ap;rdo;课间休息，大谷过来和她讲话，胡老师、文老师都来凑趣不说，连张老师也拿她开心。林欣甚至觉得学生们也都在看热闹。这算什么呢？自己和大谷之间并没有什么，可是弄得这样满城风雨的。
对于大谷呢，她也说不清自己的心思。无论是在小团体里，还是单独相处，她喜欢和他在一起。可是，要不要再向前走一步呢？她不知道！反感是反感，她却不能忘记那场三堂会审，特别是小舅舅说的话。
带着这许多的心思，她去公共厨房做晚餐。
一进门，就看见agnieska背对着门口也在忙着。林欣开心地叫了声：agnieska！
agnieska 闻声回过头来。她淡金色的头发轻轻地飘在肩上，身上那件肥大的白布衬衣让她纤细的身体完全消失了。见是林欣，她的蓝眼睛里闪出喜悦的光采：≈ap;ldo;是你呀，林欣！≈ap;rdo;
从南京一回来，林欣就注意到三楼多了个白人女孩。她总是像一阵田田荷叶间穿过的清风一样来去匆匆，脸上却仍然笑盈盈的，见了人微微打个招呼。
林欣一下子就喜欢上了这个步履轻盈的女孩子。
渐渐地，她们在公共厨房碰见了，总会停下来闲聊几句。agnieska告诉林欣，她是交换留学生，在日本只待半年。她不大会说日语，两人见面总是说英语。
≈ap;ldo;你是哪个国家来的？≈ap;rdo;林欣问道。
≈ap;ldo;波兰！≈ap;rdo; agnieska很干脆地说。
林欣马上做了个弹钢琴的手势，一边说：≈ap;ldo;肖邦！≈ap;rdo;
agnieska听了很高兴。她告诉林欣：刚来时，许多日本人都动来跟她说英语，非常友好。可是，一听说她是波兰人，他们的态度就明显冷淡下来。有的人竟然会问：≈ap;ldo;你们波兰是不是还是那么穷啊？≈ap;rdo;
≈ap;ldo;我们波兰在89年以后，发展是很快的！≈ap;rdo; 一向温婉的agnieska突然变得很激动，≈ap;ldo;有的国家的人就是非常的势利眼。我在德国也留过一年的学。和日本人一样，德国人也非常看不起波兰人。德国女人总以为我们波兰女孩千方计想嫁给德国男人。真可笑！其实德国男人在欧洲是最不受欢迎的！≈ap;rdo;
≈ap;ldo;为什么呢？≈ap;rdo;林欣好奇地问。
≈ap;ldo;因为他们只知道上班赚钱，没有一点生活情趣！≈ap;rdo; agnieska很轻蔑地说。
