题记：这是一个普普通通的中国女孩子在九十年代末期留学日本时发生的故事

东京駒場。
林欣听安妮说过，在美国，黑人仍然受歧视。但是最厉害的歧视，往往来自黑人自己。high yel们总是看不起那些皮肤更黑的人。
来日本一年半，林欣接触到不少中国人。有些人真是很奇怪：就职了的瞧不起在念书的，念理科的瞧不上念文科的；公费的看不上自费的，自费的又看不起那还在上语言学校的。好容易有个中国人的聚会，还互相挤兑。团体里北京人、上海人往往是大家群起而攻击的对象。此外，卫嘴子、九头鸟、东北银、广东佬≈ap;hellip;≈ap;hellip;全国就没有一个地方的人不落不是的。见面没说两句话，连对方的姓名还没弄清，地方义就登场了：你们xx人如何如何。有些人更是见了同胞，就避之不及，比躲瘟疫还快。在日本人的地盘，受日本人的气也就罢了，不想还要分出精力去应付同胞之间的自戕。
搬到駒場后，林欣和安妮在一起的时间更多了。两人经常一起坐电车去学校，下了课也时常一起回宿舍。晚间有时也到对方的宿舍楼里喝茶、聊天。
安妮源源不断地认识新朋友，也源源不断地把新朋友介绍给林欣，特别是中国朋友。
刚搬进駒場，一次两人在去学校的电车上正说话。
≈ap;ldo;annie!≈ap;rdo;一个瘦高个的亚裔男孩子从人丛里挤了过来。
≈ap;ldo;yaoqi!真巧！≈ap;rdo;安妮很开心地叫道。
yaoqi于是站在安妮和林欣面前，两个女孩子都仰着脸看着他。
≈ap;ldo;yaoqi，我来介绍一下。这是我的同学林欣。≈ap;rdo; annie又指了指男生说：≈ap;ldo;这是yaoqi，是john的朋友。≈ap;rdo;
林欣忙含笑打招呼，yaoqi却只是冷淡地点了下头，就又转向安妮提起一些林欣不知道的名字。安妮和他闲聊了两句，就说：≈ap;ldo;你们都是中国人，不如用中文说两句吧。我也可以练练听力。≈ap;rdo;林欣知道安妮这样说是不想她被冷落在一边。其实安妮会的中文只限于≈ap;ldo;你好≈ap;rdo;≈ap;ldo;谢谢≈ap;rdo;和≈ap;ldo;不客气≈ap;rdo;。
谁知那男生听了这话，仍然坚持用英文和安妮说话，把林欣只当作空气。看到安妮脸上那微妙的表情，林欣心里好不舒服，只盼着电车赶紧到站。
类似的情况后来又发生过数次。
基于这些经验，初次见到lda的那次，林欣暗想：又来了一个！
那天是在安妮办的一个party上。安妮给lda和林欣两下里介绍了，就去招呼别的朋友。林欣听说lda和安妮是在教堂认识的，就问她信教多久了。很自然地用的是中文。然而lda却执着地只说英文和日文，且态度极为冷淡。这种来自同胞的冷淡，林欣在过去这一年半领教了多次，早已不陌生了。她想：这个lda也是个不喜欢和中国人接近的，我还是知趣为好。
几星期后，安妮对林欣说：≈ap;ldo;我这个周日和lda一起吃午饭。你也来吧。≈ap;rdo;
林欣很直率地说：≈ap;ldo;lda不一定想见到我，我还是不去为好。≈ap;rdo;
周日那天林欣在下北沢买到了一小箱竹笋，才400日元。回来时在楼下碰见了那个公派生老张。老张是学高电压的，在西安交大当老师。虽是山东人，却没有山东大汉的豪迈，反而有点腼腆，是个很忠厚的人。
两人聊了一阵子，林欣带着好心情回到自己的房间，把竹笋放进冰箱。转念一想，既然有那么多竹笋，不如给安妮送几个过去，正好还昨天她送汤来的碗。
看看表，才十二点，也许安妮和lda还没有开始吃饭。
进了二号馆的公共厨房，果然，安妮正在火上做着最后一道菜。
林欣淡淡地和lda打了个招呼，就径直对安妮说：≈ap;ldo;安妮，我买到很便宜的竹笋。你尝尝吧。≈ap;rdo;说完她撂下竹笋就预备回去，不想lda却突然很热情地挽留她。
安妮正把菜端上桌，也对林欣说：≈ap;ldo;就是，林桑，你也来吃一点吧。≈ap;rdo;
林欣随口说已经吃过了东西，坐一下就回去。不想这一坐就到了下午四点。
整整四个小时里，基本上都是lda一个人在独白。连一向爱说话的安妮也蔫了。
双眼含泪，咬牙切齿，lda从她刚来日本在餐馆里被人欺负说起。
≈ap;ldo;那时候，我刚来日本。一句日语都不会说！日本人出了差错都往我身上推，我是有口难辩！谁心情不好都拿我撒气！我每天是以泪洗面！≈ap;rdo;lda双眼越过对面坐着的安妮和林欣，直勾勾地盯着对面的墙。林欣的鼻子有些酸，对lda的一切负面印象都烟消云散，心想：难怪她这样！看来我真是很幸运了！遇到店长和岛田那样的好人。哎，也不知他们现在怎样了≈ap;hellip;≈ap;hellip;
≈ap;ldo;你好像来日本很长时间了吧。上次你跟我说过，我没记住。≈ap;rdo;安妮显然是想缓和一下气氛。
≈ap;ldo;九年啦！我来这个鬼地方9年啦！开始在餐馆被欺负；后来好不容易念书，就职，结果还是被欺负！被同事欺负！被老板欺负！老板还想揩我的油！我每天都是以泪洗面！≈ap;rdo;
安妮脸上的表情是林欣熟悉的不耐烦，大概这些话，lda已经对安妮讲过多次了。
≈ap;ldo;you should your life!≈ap;rdo;安妮扬扬眉毛，很随便地说：≈ap;ldo;不如换一家美国公司吧。≈ap;rdo;
lda皱眉道：≈ap;ldo;but y english is not good enough!≈ap;rdo;
林欣想了想，试探地说：≈ap;ldo;你有没有想过回国发展呢？你的日语和英语都这么好，回国一定会找到好工作的。≈ap;rdo;
lda泪汪汪地看着林欣，苦笑着说：≈ap;ldo;我来日本已经九年了，我已经过不惯国内的生活，受不了国内的人啦！那些刚从国内来的男人，和他们一聊，我就直起鸡皮疙瘩（ぞっとなる！）。在日本见到的中国人，素质都很低！≈ap;rdo;
lda又转过泪眼看着安妮说：≈ap;ldo;わたし、日本がきらいきらいと言いながら、日本に染められた！（我一面说讨厌日本讨厌日本，却被日本（这个染缸）染了）私、中途半場の人間になった！（我变成了一个十三不靠的人）！≈ap;rdo;
